Lots of interesting info here. For me, some interesting bits/ideas: --even my home country (Yeah Canada!) had only given less than $4 per person (by Jan 24th). Generosity is relative. --we haven't been very good at keeping our promises. --although the stats are really early for Haiti relief, it's amazing how much has come in for a relatively small number of victims in the 2 US disasters (9/11, Katrina) compared to the 2 non-US, incredibly much larger disasters of Haiti and the tsunami. I guess charity not only begins at home, it tends to stay there as well.
